1. After red, the chance of black is greater
Or conversely: after a black number, the chance of a red number increases. That’s not true. The roulette ball has no memory. Of all the roulette myths, this is the most common.
In every game, the probability of black or red is exactly the same. In European Roulette, there are 18 red numbers and 18 black numbers. The probability of red is therefore 18/37, which comes to 48.65%. There are also 18 black numbers. The probability of black is therefore also 48.65%. The payout percentage therefore never changes. And if red comes up? Then the next game, there are simply 18 red numbers out of the 37 total. This again results in a 48.65% probability of red.

Of course, bankroll management is wise. Bankroll management is a fancy term for being sensible with your money. This means not betting too big and not betting more than you can afford.
